Campo Lindo is future oriented. We strive towards having control on the harvest and postharvest processes whenever possible.
We also want to have a positive impact on people and the planet. We believe in getting involved in social, sustainable and biodiversity conservation matters around cocoa plantations.
Campo Lindo was founded by Venezuelan native Moissy Lopez in 2015 in The Netherlands. From there, logistics and warehousing services are used.
In 2023, the company started operating also in beautiful province of Cadiz, Spain.
She studied Business Administration at Universidad Metropolitana de Venezuela and did a master in Environmental and Energy Management in The Netherlands. A beautiful basis to start her own fair cacao company.

It was on a trip to the east coast of Venezuela when Moissy discovered the enormous potential of the Venezuelan cacao.
She visited a plantation where she had the opportunity to learn from the farmers about genetics, good harvesting practices, fermentation, drying, roasting and grinding cacao in an artisanal way.
Moissy realized that there were not only opportunities for the farmers to improve their techniques, living standards, etc. But also opportunities for the chocolate makers to benefit from better cacao, to do ecotourism and to participate in social projects in the cacao producing areas.
